In 1943, eighteen member airlines sought to provide a smooth, transparent net settlement process and established Airlines Clearing House Inc. Less than a year after forming, the first ACH settlement took place in January 1944 with interline receivable billings totalling over $2 million. Today, our participants net settle over $14 billion annually in receivable billings.

Airlines Clearing House, Inc. is an airline-owned, not-for-profit facility for inexpensively expediting clearance and net settlement of accounts receivable. Over 350 airlines, airports, and other companies worldwide settle with us.
