Featured Speakers

John Heimlich joined Airlines for America (A4A) in April 2001 and currently serves as Vice President and Chief Economist. He is responsible for matters pertaining to economics and energy and frequently engages with members of the media. Prior to A4A, Heimlich spent five years at United Airlines in financial planning, financial analysis and international and regulatory affairs. In the latter role, he worked on competition matters, mergers, route cases and antitrust immunity for alliances. A native of Kent, Ohio, Heimlich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Cornell University and a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Charles Banks is a member of U.S. Bank Information Security Services, and as a Vice President, manages Security Briefing Center Operations.  His team is responsible for both the day-to-day operations of the bank’s state-of-the-art cybersecurity facilities, and the information and cybersecurity awareness education delivered in these briefing centers.
With a focus on internal and external constituent engagements that raise general user awareness of socially engineered and digitally delivered cyber threats, his team’s mission is to change, or prevent, behaviors that  result in digitally compromised, or lost data.
His team hosts both virtual and on-site engagements in the Cyber Security Briefing Center for internal enterprise business lines and the external client base of U.S. Bank.
They also cultivate & coordinate proactive community outreach and cybersecurity education partnerships. In addition to a focus on educating local communities about digital threats, and responsible, security minded cyber safe practices, the Security Briefing Center Operations team is a STEM & STEAM education driver with focus on cultivating the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
Charles has been with U.S. Bank for 17 years with a background in training, training design, security communications, and interactive cybersecurity awareness delivery. He joined the Information Security Services team in 2015, acquiring over 10 years of practical cybersecurity knowledge.

Nathan Bittner is a Principal in Ryan’s U.S. Transaction Tax Practice, bringing more than 20 years of tax consulting experience. He specializes in multi-jurisdictional ticket and fuel excise tax services, including audit defense, tax recovery, compliance, appeals, process improvement, and strategic planning.
Focused primarily on the aviation industry, Nathan has helped both domestic and foreign air carriers identify more than $750 million in tax savings. His experience also spans the oil and gas, rail, trucking, and general manufacturing sectors. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with certificates in Finance and Marketing.
